Grand Reopening! Revealed Studios

Today is officially the relaunch of Revealed Studios, formerly known as Revealed Boudoir. Laurie Peacock and Maggie Rife first started Revealed to capture classy yet sexy images of women in the lingerie as a gift for their partners or self. They loved the work–it felt great to wrap a shoot up with our clients beaming from ear to ear with self love, pride, and excitement. Often times they would turn to each other with big smiles and say how happy it felt to find a niche where they loved what they did AND it made others feel great too! This spark got them thinking, what if there are other women out there who’d love to have a beautiful, long lasting portrait or picture with their sister, best friend, or daughter? They realized they didn’t want to leave these women out because boudoir is more about the bedroom. That’s when they decided to broaden their reach and open their doors to every woman, no matter size, shape, or age. They realized Revealed Studios was the way to go, offering a similar experience to boudoir sessions, just without the lingerie.

To celebrate the grand reopening, a special will run the rest of April! The Little Blue Dress

It’s spring time and Laurie and I couldn’t be happier. With the sun shining and the weather in the 80′s, we were filled with joy and creative juice during our most recent Revealed Boudoir shoot. we had a blast styling the shoot. Look for an upcoming on the particular details we pulled for each scene, including fur pillow cases, dainty ranunculus, floppy hats, and platform two-toned wedges.

We’re pretty much in love with every piece of clothing, including this robin egg blue dress, loaned to us by Bazar boutique on Lincoln Ave and Paulina. Thanks for being amazing!

We photographed a custom concept shoot a couple weeks ago, and we had sent our client an image of a dress from Agent Provocateur as part of her specialized concept (more on the concept in another post).

Here’s the image we sent:

Inspired by our concept, the client rented an amazing D&G dress from “rent the runway” for the shoot, which originally retails for $585 and rents for $75. She did a great job, eh?
